This limited edition of Sir John Betjeman's famous poetical memoir "Summoned by Bells" has been published in a new exclusive edition to celebrate Marlborough's 175th anniversary.  The volume is clothbound in Marlborough blue with OM red end papers, and stylish silk ribbed head and tails.

Tim Betjeman, John's grandson, was "Artist in Residence" last year and contributed drawings of the college for this edition. Dr Michael Ponsford has written the foreword and The Master the preface. Dr Simon McKeown is the artist for the dust jacket which Ian Leonard then digitized for print.

A percentage of the any profits are being donated to the Betjeman Poetry Prize, a charity helping to promote literacy and foster creativity in the education sector. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a collector’s item as well as being a very smart present.

Measuring 5 ½ x 8 1/8 x 5/8  “ (13.7 x 20.5 x 1.5 cms) the book has 100 pages and 2 black and white illustrations.
